My favorite pets are dogs.  They are the epitome of unconditional love and loyalty.  I only wish I had the simplicity of heart to love the way my dog Pretzel does.  He is utterly devoted to the family.

Hello Gaia!
What are you up to?  I am taking a quilting class.  My ultimate goals is to make a quilt for each of my kids from their old school tee shirts, scouting shirts, and sports shirts.  I have lots from ages 4-5 up through high school.  I am brainstorming with the instructor of the class on exactly how we're going to do it.
I'm excited about finally thinking up a way to preserve these momentos without boxes full of shirts sitting in the shed.

I am waiting for my youngest child to graduate high school.  But I am not really waiting.  Until she graduates, I have a goal to graduate with my master's degree, reduce my material goods, decrease my spending, and purchase property in southern Florida.

Hi, I'm dee.  I'm a graduate student at University of Nevada in Nursing Education.  I drive my family crazy with my efforts to recycle, compost, and respect the planet.  My current passions are scuba and organic herb growing.
